John Goodman is the President and founder of Pareto Marketing, Inc. Since 2004, the company has served independent retailers, regional chains and national retailers with data driven marketing. Prior to Pareto Marketing, John served for 23 years as a senior executive with Helzberg Diamonds. As a member of the company’s executive committee and Senior Vice President, John helped the company grow from 25 stores to 300 stores during his tenure, before selling the company to Warren Buffet at Berkshire Hathaway. He is the recipient of the “Direct Marketer of the Year” award, published in Direct Marketing Success Stories and Successful Direct Marketing Methods. He lectures at the University of Kansas, Texas A&M University and the University of Missouri at Kansas City. He received a B.S. in Journalism from the University of Kansas. His community service includes the Board of Directors of the Kansas City Symphony, Starlight Theatre, Epic Entertainment and Wayside Waifs Animal Shelter.
